Who we are
SOCIETY FOR DEVELOPMENT ACTION (SDA) is a non-profit voluntary organization registered under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 and registered with NGO Darpan-NITI Ayog, CSR-1-Ministry of Corporate Affairs. We are tax exempted under 12A & 80G section of Income Tax Act 1961. SOCIETY FOR DEVELOPMENT ACTION (SDA) works in the Andhra Pradesh’s toughest places to reach the most disadvantaged people, children and adolescents – and to provide medical aid to everyone. We do whatever it takes to help children survive, thrive and fulfill their potential, from early childhood through adolescence and SOCIETY FOR DEVELOPMENT ACTION (SDA) works for Rural Development in India reaching the remote places in every corner of India.
We support child health and nutrition, safe water and sanitation, quality education & skill building and we organize Health, Environment, Women Empowerment, Rural Development, Agriculture, Culture, Skill Development, Community Development, Housing, HIV prevention and the protection of children and adolescents from violence and exploitation.
